The wiring for the hotel utilised state-of-the-art ACL Fire Zero cables, which is a non-PVC product that has three unique benefits over normal PVC cables, namely it is fire retardant, with zero emissions of black smoke and acidic gases during a fire.
Manufactured to exacting quality benchmarks, ACL Fire Zero cables are being used exclusively in the construction of the 200-room, 11-storey Marriott Resort and Spa, Weligama Bay, to maintain the high international standards of the US$ 12 billion revenue Marriott group, which has 4,000 plus properties in 80 countries.
